Lohrey Rural Earthworks is a locally owned and operated business based in Middlemount Queensland. Our aim is to deliver reliable earthworks solutions, transport, plant hire and vegetation management services to both rural and mining clients.

Having lived in the region for 16 years, we have a strong connection to the local community and a genuine understanding of the area, conditions and industries that operate here. This local knowledge allows us to adapt quickly, work efficiently and provide practical solutions to suit our clients.

With Owner/Director Cody Lohrey having over 11 years of experience across the mining and agriculture industries, Lohrey Rural Earthworks brings hands on knowledge and a safety focused approach to every job. This background means we understand the different expectations, standards, and time pressures of each sector and how to deliver reliable outcomes to both.

Plant Hire- Wet & Dry

We offer wet and dry hire of our Kubota SVL75-2 tracked skid steer, a reliable and versatile machine suited to a wide range of rural, commercial and mining support applications.

Our plant hire services are supported by a full range of attachments, allowing the machine to be configured to suit your specific job requirements. Weather you require experienced operation of the machine or dry hire only, we provide flexible solutions to ensure efficient, safe and productive outcomes onsite.

Transport Services

We provide dependable transport solutions using our Mitsubishi Fuso flat tray truck, with a 7.5 tonne carrying capacity. Our transport services are ideal for:

Machinery and equipment relocation
General freight and site deliveries
Rural and project-based transport requirements

We focus on safe load handling, efficient turnaround and reliable service to support your project timelines.

Vegetation Management

We deliver effective vegetation management solutions to assist with property or mine site maintenance, access management and environmental compliance.

Our services include:

Slashing and mulching using our Kubota tracked skid steer
Weed control and spraying of noxious weeds using a Polaris side-by-side equipped with a 400L spray tank. Tank can also be mounted to a trailer behind a 4WD if needed

All spraying operations are carried out by a fully qualified and experienced operator holding the relevant chemical spraying accreditations and licenses, including:

ChemCert accreditation
Ground Distribution Contractors Licence
Commercial Operators License

We keep detailed records of all spraying applications and work is completed in accordance with best practice, environmental responsibility and safety requirements.
